After several speculations, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation on social media after four years of marriage on Saturday. Tollywood superstar and father of Naga Chaitanya also shared a post calling their divorce 'unfortunate.'
Now, the actress has changed her Instagram name to Samantha. Though the actress has not added her maiden name, Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Instagram Bio.
For the unversed, the rumours of their split sparked when Samantha dropped Akkineni from her Twitter, Instagram accounts and changed it to 'S'.
On October 02, the duo took to their respective Instagram handles shared a joint statement that read, "To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support."
