Karva Chauth is one of the few festivals apart from Diwali, Holi that is hugely celebrated on the Indian screen. From songs to special incidences and emotional moments, Karva Chauth is presented in a highly decorated way on Bollywood’s big screen.
Movies like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge epitomised the festival and many young Bollywood actresses are following the same in their real lives. The gang of veteran actresses- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonali Bendre, Kajol team up at Bachchan’s house every year for the Karva Chauth celebration.
These actresses also share their latest photographs and the special sarees and jewelry they wear on the occasion. Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon are also known for sharing their Karva Chauth glimpses on their Instagram pages. The festival is also celebrated with all pomp and glitter at Anil Kapoor’s house with Raveena, Sunita Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor coming together for the festivity.
Surprisingly, the daughter of Sunita and Anil-Rhea Kapoor who recently married her longtime boyfriend Karan Boolani has said that she does not believe in Karva Chauth and asked her family members and friends not to send wishes or gifts for the occasion.

Nick Jonas was a proud husband when Priyanka kept a fast for him and happily said that his wife is a Hindu and taught him many things about her culture and religion. Priety Zinta who leaves in the US for the most part of the year with Gene Goodenough also celebrates Karva Chauth.
