Talk about Karwa Chauth and it is like a yearly tradition at superstar Anil Kapoor’s house where his wife Sunita not just fasts for her husband but also specially invites the ladies of her social group that comprises the who’s who of Bollywood ladies, to break the day-long fast at her abode.
From Mira Rajput to Padmini Kolhapure, the occasion at Kapoor house saw a lot of Bollywood actresses and wives celebrating this festival.
Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, this year chose to skip the event at the Kapoor abode and decided to spend Karwa Chauth in Alibaug with her friend Akansha Malhotra.
Shilpa shared a beautiful picture of herself in red attire and wrote: “Wishing you all a happy Karvachauth and happy fasting ladies… May you and yours be blessed with health, protection and abundance always. #karvachauth #fasting #rituals #traditions.”
Newly wedded Yami Gautam shared photos of her first Karwa Chauth celebrations on her social media account. She shared a few photos of herself in a red saree and wrote: “The joy of celebrating my first Karva Chauth is unmatched.”
Meanwhile, actress Sonali Bendre Behl too shared beautiful pictures of herself on social media wherein she is seen wearing her 19-year-old wedding lehenga. The actress looked like a dream in her attire.
Mira Rajput who was clicked while on her way to Anil Kapoor’s residence for the celebrations, looked pretty in her pink sharara.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma too rang in the festival with his gorgeous wife Ginni Chatrarth at their home. The star wife who usually refrains from getting clicked, this time not just got herself photographed but also was seen indulging in some PDA with her darling husband.
Varun Dhawan who recently got married to the love of his life, Natasha Dalal, also celebrated his first Karwa Chauth with his wife. Natasha looked pretty in her traditional outfit while Varun looked dashing in his Kurta.
