Dream girl Hema Malini recalled the time when she shot for a movie titled Dharmatma in Afghanistan and expressed her displeasure over the current plight of people in Afghanistan as it is taken over forcibly by the Taliban. The present situation there has triggered various celebrities across the film industry to express their views on it. Political leader Hema Malini revealed that the time she shot in Afghanistan it was a lovely nation and now is shocked to see it turn upside down.

The actress took to her Twitter handle and shared a throwback picture of her and Feroz Khan on the poster of Dharmatma. Voicing her opinion she wrote, "What is happening to a happy, once peaceful nation, Afghanistan, is truly sad. My great memories of Afghanistan date back to Dharmatma - I play a gypsy girl & my portion was shot entirely there. Had a great time as my parents were with me and Feroz Khan took good care of us".


Celebrities like Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Saiyani Gupta, and Sidharth Shukla also reacted to the crisis and put forth their concern for the women and children trapped in it. Actor Ranvir Shorey went on to bash the United States of America for showing their carelessness that resulted in this mess.
