MUMBAI: Muskaan Bamne is a budding telly actress in the Hindi entertainment industry and is currently gaining immense household fame for playing Pakhi Shah (Sweety) in Star Plus' leading show Anupamaa. Herein, her character plays the daughter of the show's titular protagonist - Anupamaa (played by actress Rupali Ganguly), who enjoys the company of her two elder brothers - Samar and Paritosh Shah.

1. Muskaan hails from the town Itarsi in Madhya Pradesh. Her family comprises her parents and her younger sister Simran Bamne, who's also an actress.
2. However, for the unversed, she did her primary schooling at St. Mary's Malankara Syrian Catholic Higher Secondary School, Trivandrum.
3. Since her school days, she was inclined towards dancing and had actively participated in many of her school's dance and other co-curricular activity-based competitions.
4. After completing her formal education, she shifted to Mumbai and also did a diploma in Dance from there itself.
5. She started her showbiz career as a model before trying out her fortune in acting. She channels her inner fashionista as a fashion influencer on social media platforms and also has walked on the ramp for some eminent fashion designers.
6. As an actress, she debuted on the screens through a short film named Truth Encounter as a child artiste. However, details about her on-screen character are unknown.
7. In 2016, she bagged her first ticket to stardom by featuring as a child artiste in the Shraddha Kapoor starring Bollywood movie Haseena Parker, wherein she played the role of Umaira. The film had hit the theatres in 2017.
