Thaman to compose music for Shankar's film with...
Earlier in February, it was announced that ace filmmaker Shankar will be directing Telugu actor Ram Charan for a big project, which will be a pan-Indian film. While director was caught in legal fight with 'Indian 2' producers until a few days ago, looks like he is all set to commence is project with Ram Charan.
The Madras High Court on Friday rejected a plea by Lyca Productions to restrain film director S Shankar from making any other movie without completing the Kamal Haasan-starrer 'Indian 2'.
While it is reported that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt might be roped in to play the female lead, the latest is that popular Telugu music composer Thaman has been roped into the project. It is to be noted that Thaman made his entry in cinema as an actor with director Shankar's 'BOYS' in 2003.
The film will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Interestingly, this is the first time Shankar will be directing a Telugu hero. The film will be shot and released in several languages, catering to a pan-India audience.
