In the video, that has now gone viral, showed the actress stating that she was offered a role in a web series by Raj Kundra's assistant Umesh Kamat. She claimed that Kundra and two of his associates demanded a nude audition from her on video call. "I was shocked and I refused," she said. It is to be noted that Umesh Kamat, another key accused in the case was also arrested and questioned by the Mumbai Police.
"The video call had three people - one of whom had their face covered and ond one of them was Raj Kundra I think. I want that if he is involved in such things, he is arrested and such a racket is exposed," Sagarika added.
On Monday (July 19), Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police and booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Information Technology Act, and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. He was produced in Mumbai's Esplanade Court and sent to police custody till July 23. So far, 12 arrests have been made in connection with the case.
