In her Insta Story, she informed that she has mild symptoms, but is feeling alright. She also confirmed that she has isolated herself and is following all necessary Covid protocols.
She further requested anyone who came in contact with her to get tested immediately. "If you have been in contact with me, request you to please please get tested immediately. Stay safe everyone," she added.
Last week, the 'Super 30' star was busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, 'Jersey', which also features Shahid Kapoor. The movie was scheduled to be released on Friday (December 31), but was rescheduled due to the surge in the Covid cases.
The new release date of the film wasn't announced, but Kapoor confirmed that it will be out in 2022.

Prior to Thakur, many other Bollywood celebrities have contracted the infection in what is expected to be the third wave of the virus. Celebrities including Arjun Kapoor, his sister Anshula Kapoor, his cousin and producer Rhea Kapoor, and her husband Karan Boolani have also tested positive for COVID-19.
Recently, Nora Fatehi, Shilpa Shirodkar also announced that they were diagnosed with the virus.
Sourav Ganguly, who had also tested positive for the Covid, was discharged after treatment on Friday and will continue to remain in home isolation.Actresses and close friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora, among others, who contracted the virus at director Karan Johar's get together, recovered right before Christmas.
