Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is a mother to three and is constantly clicked with her kids in the city. The actress never fails to treat fans and her followers with adorable family photos and videos. Despite her busy schedule as a Bollywood actor and a celebrity, Leone often makes out time for her kids. She has even been clicked dropping off and receiving her kids from school. Sunny Leone was the next guest on the third episode of Bollywood Bubble’s Her Story season 2. In an exclusive chat with us, she opened up about embracing motherhood and how it chose her.
Sunny Leone told Bollywood Bubble about the difficult process of surrogacy and how she opted for adoption. On embracing motherhood, Sunny said, “I did not have my children. But, I really really wanted children and so did my husband. So we were going through the process of surrogacy. And then this process of surrogacy, that takes a long time. It took about a year and a half, from start to finish. And, during that time, before we decided, that surrogacy wasn’t going as planned, so we had six eggs, four girls and two boys. So, the girls, we did IVF (In vitro fertilisation) and they didn’t turn into a Baby. ”
Sunny shared how the experience during the IVF was heartbreaking. She expressed how she felt. Talking about it, Leone said, “So that’s really heartbreaking. So it feels like a failure. And you feel so low and so upset about it.”
Speaking about how she and her husband Daniel opted for adoption, Sunny further shared, “We went right here, in Andheri to a place called St Catherine’s, it’s a place for young girls. And we went there and we were seeing all these cute babies. And I said why can’t we just adopt a baby, what is the difference? She’s still ours. We are not connected genetically, but we will be connected to our heart.”

Sunny Leone opened up about her dropping her kids off to school every day and receiving them after. When asked if she wants to be a part of every milestone in the life of her kids, the mother of three said, “There’s that, of course. And there’s also the fact that I’m not a young parent. I’m not someone in their early 20s, trying to figure life out still. Having a child young is amazing because you bounce back so fast.”
Sunny revealed that Daniel and she always wants to see their kids and be involved in every little tiny issue. She added, “I think we have more separation anxiety than the children do.”
Meanwhile, Sunny and Daniel adopted their first child, Nisha Kaur Weber in July 2017, from Latur, a village in Maharashtra. She was 21 months old at the time of adoption. The couple announced the birth of their twin boys, Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber, on March 4, 2018.
