Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra's sister Shamita Shetty is creating a lot of buzz since she stepped into the house of 'Bigg Boss OTT' amid the arrest of Raj Kundra in the infamous pornography case. While the actress is currently making news for her closeness to actor Raqesh Bapat on the show, we stumbled upon an old episode of comedian Kapil Sharma's TV show wherein she confessed that she slipped into depression after her elder sister Shilpa Shetty married Raj Kundra. While interacting with Kapil, Shamita said, 'I was happy when Raj, Shilpa got married, but I also went into depression for a month. Because, when Shilpa was at home, we all used to laughs out loud with her. We were missing her.' Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra tied the knot in the year 2009 on November 22 and have been blissfully married for close to 12 years now. However, the couple is currently embroiling in legal troubles after the arrest of Raj Kundra in a pornography case, where he is accused of making adult content and streaming it on an OTT app. On the other hand, Shamita and Shilpa share a very close bond with each other and both are often seen shelling out major sister goals on social media. But, recently in one of the episodes of 'Bigg Boss OTT', Shamita opened on often getting compared with Shilpa Shetty and confessed that it has not been easy on her to live under her sister's shadow and want people to know the real her. She said that she still carries the emotional baggage of living under her sister Shilpa's shadow and after a lot of struggle, she is finally comfortable in her skin. While admitting that it has been a very ‘protective shadow’ and she is lucky to have it but still wishes to create her individual identity.
