India’s swashbuckling batsman KL Rahul likes to keep his love life private. Though the fans are always curious regarding whom the Indian batter is dating, Rahul hardly gives anything away and tries to keep his personal life under the wraps. However, the batter hasn’t gained much success in the task as almost everyone is aware of KL’s love affair with Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty.

The rumors of the two dating each other have been floating for quite some time now. Though both Rahul and Athiya have always maintained a dignified silence on the topic, their social media posts, comments, and stories have made the picture clear regarding their relationship status. The power couple again became a center of attraction as the actress left a comment on the cricketers’ latest Instagram post.

On May 25, Tuesday, KL posted a couple of snaps from his training session. In the first picture, the wicketkeeper-batsman can be seen doing exercise with a kettlebell, while the second image shows him relaxing. The last shot is a close-up where the right-hander can be seen looking in the camera. The Punjab Kings skipper posted the pictures with the caption, “And still, we rise “

 

 

The post by the 29-year-old quickly went viral on social media and a lot of netizens appreciated the pictures and leaving heartwarming comments. Among the thousands of comments, one that stood out came from Rahul’s rumored girlfriend Athiya Shetty. Athiya didn’t use any fancy words to describe the post, instead, she just commented a smiley emoticon.

KL Rahul was last seen playing competitive cricket during the now-suspended 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The captain was enjoying a fine run while leading Punjab Kings. However, he was forced to miss the last game of the Kings in the tournament as he underwent appendicitis surgery earlier this month.

The 29-year-old will now be traveling to England for the final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand followed by the five-match series against England. Rahul forms a part of the 20-member Test squad announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
