Late Actress Divya Bharti's Father Dies, Her Ex-Husband, Sajid Nadiadwala Performed The Last Rites

Popular film producer, Sajid Nadiadwala has been in the news since he had received the National Award for his film, Chhichhore, after it was awarded the Best Hindi Film at the 67th National Film Awards ceremony in Delhi. The producer had received a lot of praise for his beautiful gesture to dedicate the National Award to the film's lead and late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.

Once again, people are admiring the actions of Sajid Nadiadwala, but the news isn't a happy one. According to reports, Sajid's late ex-wife and actress, Divya Bharti's father, Om Prakash Bharti, had passed away, and it was the producer who performed his last rites.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, late actress, Divya Bharti's father, Om Prakash Bharti had passed away on October 30, 2021, due to some age-related health issues. As per the report, along with his family members, it was his late daughter's ex-husband, Sajid Nadiadwala who didn't leave his side till the last moment. It is also reported that Sajid Nadiadwala performed his ex-father-in-law's last rites and spent some time with the family to mourn his demise. The report can be read as:

"Sajid was by Divya's father side when he passed away. He was at the cremation the next day."

The report further added that Sajid Nadiadwala had treated his late ex-wife, Divya Bharti's parents, Om Prakash Bharti and Meeta Bharti, as his own, since the day of their marriage. However, the producer had gotten more close to them after the demise of their daughter and his ex-wife. After Divya's death, Sajid has fulfilled all the responsibilities of a son and, now after the demise of Om Prakash Bharti, the producer is entirely focused on the health of Meeta Bharti. The report added:

"For Sajid, Om Prakash Bharti was like his own father. He calls Divya's parents mom and dad. Now that the patriarch is gone, Sajid will look after Divya's mom just like any son."

For the unversed, Divya and Sajid had met each other for the first time when Divya was working with Govinda in the movie, Shola Aur Shabnam. For Sajid, it was love at first sight, and he was completely bestowed by Divya Bharti's beauty. They had started off as friends and had later realised that they had feelings for each other. Soon they had tied the knot on May 10, 1992, in a private ceremony.

However, sadly on April 5, 1993, Divya Bharti had fallen off from her apartment and had died at the age of 19, shocking the entire nation. Her death led to many conjectures and conspiracy theories, and it still remains a mystery. After Divya's death, Sajid was completely distraught and had lived many years in immense pain and loneliness. However, with time, Sajid had managed to move on in his life and had found love again in Warda Khan, a journalist. Sajid and Warda got married on November 18, 2000.

In a montage video shared on Instagram, it looks like the actress is having a blast as she flashes a creepy smile.  Along with the clip, Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Happy Halloween,” with the signature pumpkin and ghost emojis. As expected, fans of the actress could not stop praising the amount of work and detail that had gone into curating the look.

It is evident from her Instagram posts that Shilpa Shetty likes to keep the child alive within her. Recently, the actress shared a video in which she is seen playing with her dog and treating the canine to some sugar-free treats. Sharing the clip, Shilpa wrote, “Tuffles' sugar-free Sunday binge. Smol pawfections are always the best.”

On another occasion, Shilpa Shetty is plucking a bottle gourd from the plant, but not before spilling some sap on herself. Sharing the clip, Shilpa said, “Nothing ‘low key' about my love for ‘lauki'.”

Before that, she even shared a video where she is seen plucking guavas. In the clip, Shilpa Shetty says, “Doing what I love doing the most...Plucking fruits from someone else's garden.” For the caption of the video, Shilpa Shetty made a pun and wrote, “What did the farmer think when he saw the guava? - ‘Waah...Waah.' Happy Sunday.”

South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in talks for a Bollywood movie?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has a handful of offers in the pipeline. With her mythological epic drama ‘Shaakunthalam’ in the post-production phase, Prabhu has two bilingual movies on her plate.

Fresh reports from the industry suggest that Prabhu is all set to make her Bollywood debut as well. The same sources had reported that Prabhu is being approached for an interesting role for a movie that is to be made under actress Taapsee Pannu’s production.

Pannu’s Outsiders Films is to produce a female-centric thriller, for which the casting team has suggested Prabhu as the lead. However, there is no official confirmation on this.

Prabhu made her mark on the pan-India audience with Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘The Family Man 2’. Also there were rumours of Prabhu moving to Mumbai, as part of her work which she later denied.

He further stated that the film, the story, the music album, cast, and the entire team of ADHM is close to his heart. Adding a hashtag of '5 years of ADHM,' the director-producer concluded the post.
