Yuvika Chaudhary landed herself in hot waters with netizens who have been venting out their anger over the actress for using a casteist slur in her recent Vlog. In the video, Yuvika can be seen filming her husband Prince Narula as he gets a haircut. She has now issued a public apology on her Instagram after the hashtag ‘Arrest Yuvika Chaudhary' started trending on Twitter.
"I would like to apologise to each and every one of you for my honest mistake which happened unknowingly. I didn't know the meaning about that word which I used in my last Vlog. I didn't mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone. This was a mistake I hope you understand and forgive me," Yuvika apologised in a video shared on Instagram.
Prince also took to his Instagram stories to apologise to his fans who were irked with Yuvika's use of a casteist slur in her video featuring him. He said that they felt really bad when they Googled the meaning of the word and asked for forgiveness. He also sent a message to haters that they are always ready to grab such opportunities to take someone down.
Recently an FIR was filed against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmun Dutta for using casteist slur in a YouTube video.
